One more thing to add there is actually two shortcut links on the desktop to the upgrade assistant for some reason the second one appeared after it reset itself the second or 3rd time as far as I recall. Problem being about 5 times now it has reached between 70 - 80% and then decides to reset itself back to zero again for no apparent reason ? there is no error that is being shown or any indication as for why it keeps doing this, the current version of Win10 on my system is 10240 that was shipped with the laptop. I click the upgrade link again and it resumes from where it left off again.

When I click on the upgrade assistant link that magically appeared on my desktop I go through clicking the required buttons and the upgrade starts to download eventually (very slowly) it is obviously a very large file as after a while it burns up all my bandwidth so I have to stop it and wait until the next day.
